About us

Bewdley Museum sits in the heart of this historic riverside town, where Georgian buildings line the streets, and the Wyre Forest begins just beyond the bridge.

Inside, you'll discover the story of Bewdley and its surrounding area through hands-on displays, craft demonstrations, and audio recordings from local voices. Explore recreated workshops, peer into the old town cells, and wander through our sensory herb garden. Our exhibits invite you to touch, listen, and engage, not just observe.

Between galleries, the Garden Kitchen café offers a welcome spot to rest with good food and drink.

We're well-placed for exploring the area too, with forest walks on the doorstep and attractions like Severn Valley Railway and West Midlands Safari Park nearby.

We don't charge admission. Your donations keep us going and help preserve local heritage for future visitors.
