The shop is open daily from 10am to 4.30pm, with access to the museum and Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Gardens until 4pm.

Craft studios:

Getting here

You can access the museum from Load Street or Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Gardens.

Bewdley is easily accessed by car with plenty of car parking available within easy walking distance of either entrance. 

View Wyre Forest District Council car parks.

Nearest mainline railway station is Kidderminster, where you can continue on the Severn Valley Railway to Bewdley. There are also regular buses available.

We have gift ideas, jewellery, pewter, a selection of wines and spirits including Bewdley Brewery Ales and as always visitors can see our resident craftspeople at work.

 

Take a look in our shop

Bewdley Museum Shop is well worth a visit for gift ideas, homeware, garden decor, jewellery, and accessories.

A selection of ‘Made in the Museum’ crafts can be purchased in the shop. All items are unique and handmade by resident craftspeople.

The museum gift shop is located at the Load Street entrance to the museum and can also be accessed through the shambles from the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Gardens. The shop is open daily from 10am - 4.30pm.

Pop along, make a purchase, support Bewdley Museum and take home a memento of your visit. Your purchase is helping to support the museum’s ongoing work for our future generations.

For those who wish to bring a picnic, there are benches available in the adjoining Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Gardens, or just bring a rug and relax in our serene grounds.

There are 4 toilets on site, including 3 wheelchair accessible facilities in the café area, and 2 baby change units.

Large print and braille guides are available to borrow, please ask a member of staff on the front desk located in the gift shop.

The museum is accessible by wheelchair with level entry or ramped access (with the exception of the air raid shelter). One wheelchair is available for use on site (it is advisable to book in advance). There are two access ramps into the museum from the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Gardens, the ramp located on the right hand side of the gardens, with an incline, provides access to the café area, and the ramp located on the left is less steep and enters into the herb garden area.

Please be aware that some of the floor surfaces especially the Shambles and parts of the Brass Foundry are uneven and paved with cobbles. 

The museum's events, exhibitions and education programmes are open to all members of the public. Please contact us if you wish to arrange a special event to cater for a particular disability.
