Dani Brushfield-Smith — Rogue Letters
Dani is the brains and inky fingers behind Rogue Letters. A former copywriter turned modern calligrapher, Dani combines her copywriting smarts with her hand-lettering skills to create stationery, signage and artwork for indie brands, bespoke weddings and gift givers in search of something truly personal.
The underlying idea behind Rogue Letters was taking the calligraphic/lettering art form and pairing it with the unexpected. Yes, Dani writes calligraphy on place cards, invitations and art prints, but she also writes it on huge chalkboards, old vinyl records and pink paper-mâché dinosaurs. So if you’re looking for something original for your next event, Dani would love for you to pop in for a chat.
In addition to showcasing Dani’s work, the Rogue Letters studio also serves as a hub for the calligraphy-curious of Worcestershire, giving them a chance to come and try before they buy and get recommendations from an established calligrapher.
Dani also teaches pointed pen calligraphy and brush calligraphy. If you’d like to join the waitlist for her next beginner class, you can sign up here: moderncalligraphyworkshops.com
