Kate Laudyr - Indigo Lilac Studio

Kate is a textile designer and florist. She studied Fashion Design, followed by a BA (Hons) in Textile Design for Fashion and Interiors at Hereford College of Arts. She has also sold her print designs to Calvin Klein and Gap in New York.

She has such a love of flowers that she went on to study floristry to learn about flowers and plants and the principles of design and how to apply them within Floristry.  Her design work comes from many years of learning.

Kate studied Floristry at Moreton Morrell College in Warwickshire and has been taught by some wonderful multi award winning florists, with Chelsea gold medals, world skills gold medals and Interflora florist of the year to their names.

She is a level 4 Qualified Professional Florist and offers Floristry classes. She also specialises in weddings and events.   She has worked at prestigious events for some wonderful florists on a freelance basis, including Fabulous Flowers of Oxford.

Her Studio,  Indigo Lilac Studio is a combination of two passions, textile design and floristry
