Visitor guidelines for Bewdley Museum, gift shop and Tourist Information Centre
We aim to be a safe, relaxed and friendly environment for all to visit. We hope you enjoy your visit. We would ask that all visitors respect our visitor guidelines.
- Any young person aged 14 or under must be accompanied by an adult aged 16+
- No smoking, vaping or illegal drug related activities allowed on site.
- The displays and exhibits are all free to enjoy, please do not climb on or over display barriers.
- All dogs must be kept on a fixed lead. All persons in charge of a dog must carry a suitable plastic bag and clean up any fouling which occurs.
- The museum reserves the right to refuse admission to the museum, or ask visitors to leave without prior notification should their behaviour be deemed to be anti-social or offensive to staff or other visitors.
- You are not permitted to cycle or ride a scooter in the museum, with the exception of mobility scooters.
- Bike racks are provided in Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Gardens and Load Street to secure bikes. They must not be secured anywhere on on site.
- For operational purposes groups of more than 10 visitors must notify the museum prior to their visit and a donation agreed at the time of booking.
- When visiting Bewdley Museum please check the website for opening times or call 0845 607 7819 between 10am-4.30pm any day of the week.
Visitors are advised to check the museum’s opening dates and times prior to visiting.
Sales of goods from Bewdley Museum shop
An exchange or refund can be made within 28 days of the purchase date, provided an original proof of purchase is provided and it is returned in a fully re-saleable (new and unused) condition, in the original packaging with all tags intact. If purchased by card, your refund will be credited to the original payment card. Please note, if you wish to exchange your item(s), this can only be at the shop/TIC reception. We are unable to offer exchanges by post. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
Sale of alcohol
We reserve the right to challenge anyone 25 years and under. You will be required to show ID as proof of age before purchase.
Items that cannot be returned unless faulty
- Perishable goods such as food and plants
- Earrings
- Toiletries
- Goods with a protective seal where the seal has been broken
- Bespoke items such as paintings and artwork.
