Letter wood carving

Carve your initials, name or house name in wood in this practical course. This one-day workshop will show you how to construct your letters, lay out the text and carve incised or raised letters with a good level of precision.
This workshop is suitable for complete beginners as well as those with some woodcarving experience.
All equipment and materials provided. Light lunch included.
Please note this workshop is suitable for those aged 18 and over.
Andrew Pearson is a highly experienced and talented teacher of students of all ages and abilities, having taught from those aged 5 to a gentleman approaching his 100th birthday. Having trained in three-dimensional design, Andrew’s almost innate understanding of the characteristics of wood were brought to life. He has over 35 years’ experience in sculpting, turning and carving, including joining master carvers to restore Windsor Castle after the fire.
