Spoon carving

Saturday 12 September, 10am

Cost: £90

Learn to carve a tasting/eating / stirring spoon from a durable local, coppiced hardwood to use in your own kitchen or around the campfire.

.In this session, you will be surprised how quickly you can form your spoon and remove ‘green’ or unseasoned timber using basic hand tools like the axe, drawknife and chisels.

We hope that each student will complete, or almost complete, a spoon during this short course.

Please note that this session is suitable for those aged 18 and over.
